Following the international relations development strategy of Iran Mercantile Exchange, improving interaction with local embassies was reinforced once more by hosting Swiss ambassador.
Tehran, YJC. -- Following official invitation from Iran Mercantile Exchange, respectful ambassador of Indonesia in Tehran and the delegates from commercial section paid a visit to this exchange. During this visit, the Indonesian delegation was welcomed by the senior officials of the exchange.
During first 9 months of the Iranian calendar year of 1392 beginning from March 20, 2013, around 17.7 million tons of commodities were traded with 309000 billion IRR in value which shows 19 and 60 percent increase in volume and value respectively compared with the same period last year.
During last month total volume of 2,352,000 MT of various types of commodities were traded in IME trading floors in local and export with the total value of 1,520 billion USD which shows a growth in volume and value respectively 26 and 18 percent.
A delegation from the embassy of Japan embassy, headed by Japanese Ambassador paid a one-hour visit to Iran Mercantile Exchange. During the visit, His Excellency Ambassador Koji Haneda and his associate Mr. Hiroki Suemori met IME officials and discussed possible areas of cooperation.
Tehran, YJC. -- Premier plaque and PR statue was dedicated to Iran Mercantile Exchange Public Relations in the major of Strategic management in the 10th International Conference on Public Relations.
During last trading week of IME ended 7 of November, more than 515,000 MT of various types of products were traded with the total value of 7,700 billion IRR(308 million USD)..
An economic delegation comprising the head of the commercial section of South African Embassy in Tehran and the staff paid a two-hour visit to Iran Mercantile Exchange by the invitation of IME to get familiar with exchange activities to further ties and explore possible areas of cooperation in trading of commodities, sharing technology and many other issues.
Tehran, YJC. -- Warehouse receipts or warrants being an efficient instrument contributing to delivery process both for spot and futures markets are going to be listed and accepted as a collateral that suppliers may deposit with the IME clearing house to fulfill their obligations. By addition of this trading tool to the array of exchange instruments it may function as a solution to back trading of market participants.
Bitumen, metallurgical coke, copper, aluminum, lube cut, sulfur, gases and chemical products were the most desirable commodities by the selection of IME traders, during last week trades.
Tehran, YJC. -- On 22 September 2013, the seminar of Iran Steel Market, Benefits, Challenges and Perspectives was held in the economics faculty of Allameh Tabatabaiee University with planning and collaboration of Iran Mercantile Exchange and Metal Bulletin with the target of familiarizing the active brokers, market participants and academics focusing on different aspects of steel industries such as production cycle, steel trade solutions.
Tehran, YJC. -- On 21 August 2013, in the export trading floor of Iran Mercantile Exchange, 50,000 MT of granulated iron ore was traded in the export trading floor for metals and minerals and the total demanded volume hits 150,000 MT which is 3 t ime s bigger than the total offering volume and this shows the high demand level for this product .
Tehran, YJC. -- On 8th of July 8, 2013, more than 81,000 MT of different types of commodities was traded with the total value of 1,500 billion IRR (600 million USD) in Iran Mercantile Exchange metals and mines trading floor
Tehran, YJC .-- On 7th of July, 2013, more than 89,000 MT of different types of commodities was traded with the total value of 2 trillion IRR (800 Million USD) in Iran Mercantile Exchange trading floors and 3,870 MT of total commodities was traded in export trading floor which was mostly 6070 bitumen with the total value of 2.3 million USD.
Tehran, YJC. -- During recent week transactions in Iran Mercantile Exchange trading floors, more than 516,000 MT of different types of products were traded in 3 main groups of oil and petrochemical, metals and minerals as well as agricultural products.
