Following the international relations development strategy of Iran Mercantile Exchange, improving interaction with local embassies was reinforced once more by hosting Swiss ambassador.
Based on the report from IME international affairs and PR, Mr.Julio Häss the ambassador of Swiss paid a visit in Tehran and Dr. Hossein Panahian the managing director of the IME and a group of IME deputies and managers were took part in a general introductory presentation which was performed by IME International affairs experts.
Moreover, developing modern financial and trading tools and increasing the variety of listed products in the futures contracts were the items which were mentioned by the Swiss ambassador as the main factors of success for exchanges as well as Mr. Häss considered Iran as one of the top potential markets and exchanges in the Asian and Middle East financial and commodity markets.
Beside, Julio Häss became familiar with the trading procedures and systems in IME by being present in IME trading floor.
Finally, the two sides were focused on developing the relations between the exchanges of Iran and Swiss countries and making the traders, companies and producers become familiar in the capital market.
