TEHRAN, YJC. Lake Famur (also called Parishan) is one of the largest and most beautiful freshwater lakes in the Middle East. It is located in Fars Province near Shiraz. Experts believe that the indiscriminate and non-normative water harvesting is the main reasons for drought in this place .
