TEHRAN, YJC. Commander of Islamic Republic of Iran Navy has said that the country’s Navy will be in the Atlantic Ocean soon.

Sayyari said that the Iranian Navy’s 24th fleet will leave China today
to dock at Colombo, Sri Lanka.
In the sidelines of the National
Defense, Comprehensive Defense Conference Sayyari provided comments on turning
back of the 24th fleet, comprising of the Khark helicopter carrier
and Sabalan destroyer from Zhanjiang, China.
"While in China the fleet
performed good exercises and it will leave the destination,”Rear Admiral
Sayyari added.
He sid "We are in the Pacific,
and after return from China we will head for Malacca Strait and then berth at
Colombo.”
He also stated "Presence in free waters is all nations’
right and we plan to visit the Atlantic Ocean as well inshallah.”
