298,606 MT of commodities worth over $170.3 million were traded in the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) late January.
According to the report from the IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of the IME, 42,511 MT of various products worth close to $47.7 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 35,048 MT of steel products, 5,400 MT of copper, 1,940 MT of aluminum, 120 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 3 MT of precious metals concentrates and 5 kg f gold bullion were traded.
The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of the IME, 204,477 MT of different commodities with the total value of $106.8 million were traded.
On this trading floor, more than 37,299 MT of bitumen, 47,722 MT of polymer products, 71,730 MT of VB feed stock as well as 24,500 MT of lube-cut oil, 10,756 MT of chemical products, 11,930 MT of sulfur, 500 MT of insulation and 110 MT of argon were traded.
Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of the IME, 49,146 MT of various commodities worth over $14.3 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 40,871 MT of maize, 3,750 MT of wheat, 1,000 MT of rice, 275 MT of sugar, 450 MT of meals and 2,800 MT of crude soybean oil were traded by the customers.
