More than 398,722 MT of commodities worth over $255.8 million were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) in the first week of January.
IME trading hits $225.8 mln early JanuaryAccording to the report from the IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 140,025 MT of various products worth close to $104 million were traded.

On this trading floor, 132,065 MT of steel products, 4,330 MT of aluminum, 3,510 MT of copper, 120 MT of molybdenum concentrates and 3 Kg of gold bullion were traded.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of the IME, 229,403 MT of different commodities with the total value of $111 million were traded.

On this trading floor, more than 84,260 MT of bitumen, 40,355 MT of polymer products, 57,500 MT of VB feed stock as well as 23,000 MT of lube-cut oil, 15,168 MT of chemical products, 6,420 MT of sulfur, 100 MT of insulation, 2,500 MT of slaps waxes and 100 MT of argon were traded.

Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of the IME, 29,273 MT of various commodities worth over $10.5 million were traded. On this trading floor, 14,187 MT of maize, 7,897 MT of feed barley, 9,250 MT of wheat, 18,754 MT of maize, 118 MT of feed barley, 5,500 MT of wheat, 1,000 MT of rice, 1,000 MT of sugar and 3,800 MT of crude soybean oil were traded by the customers.
