TEHRAN, June 02 - Explosion of a roadside bomb killed one archeologist and injured 2 more in Logar Province in eastern Afghanistan on Saturday.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The three archeologists were aboard a car on their way to Logar when their car hit a roadside bomb, Afghanistan Ministry of Information and Culture spokesman Mohammad Saber Momend said.
The two injured were transported to hospital; he said, adding that there is no exact news on the health conditions.
Logar is one of the 34 provinces of Afghanistan, located in the eastern part of the country. It is divided into seven districts and contains hundreds of villages. Pol-e Alam is the capital of the province.
