TEHRAN, May 30 - The Wednesday attack on Afghanistan Interior Ministry was completely foiled killing all 10 attackers, the spokesman of Ministry of Interior of Afghanistan Najib Danish said.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Danish also verified killing of a police officer and injuring 5 others.
Suicide attackers broke into Afghanistan Interior Ministry at noon.
The attacker first detonated a bomb-laden car at security gate and other attackers entered the area.
Other attackers started conflict with security forces and they could not pass through the main building, Danish said.
This is while another suicide attack in Logar Province, eastern Afghanistan on Wednesday claimed the lives of 4 police officers and injured 12 more.
The attacker first using a bomb-laden car targeted Pol-e Alam City and then three other terrorists entered the area, Danish earlier said.
All three attackers were killed in a conflict with police officers, he added.
