UK parliamentary official: Iran complies with nuclear deal commitments

TEHRAN, August 4, YJC - Head of Iran-Britain Parliamentary Friendship Group Richard Bacon who is in Iran for inauguration of Rouhani said Iran has complied with its commitments to the nuclear deal.

UK parliamentary official: Iran complies with nuclear deal commitmentsTEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “Iran has fulfilled its nuclear commitments and we as parliamentary friendship group members are trying for Britain’s compliance with its nuclear deal commitments.”

He also lauded Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s role in getting access to the nuclear deal and the its achievements.

Bacon expressed hope that the positive process would speed up in the second term of Rouhani’s taking office.

“If I am here today it is because of Mr. Rouhani’s willing to establish ties with world countries and we attach great respect for him and for his achievements in his first term in office.”

Another member of this group who is UK prime minister deputy said, “We have always said that Iran has completely fulfilled its obligations under the nuclear deal and we have apparently opposed against new sanctions on Iran.”

The UK official said Europe is trying to settle misunderstanding. “UK position is preventing new sanctions on Iran.”

The official continued, “We believe that benefits of the nuclear deal, including financial support and establishing banking and insurance ties should include Iran.”
