TEHRAN, April 29, YJC - 338,011 MT of commodities worth over $191 million were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) over the last week of April.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - According to a report from the IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 95,975 MT of various products worth close to $67 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 90,805 MT of steel products, 2,850 MT of copper, 200 MT of aluminum, 120 MT of molybdenum concentrates, over 17 kg of gold bullion as well as 2 MT of coke were traded.
The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 212,326 MT of different commodities with the total value of $109 million were traded.
On this trading floor, more than 36,696 MT of bitumen, 53,459 MT of polymer products, 74,500 MT of VB feed stock as well as 15,500 MT of lube-cut oil, 17,956 MT of chemical products, 13,100 MT of sulfur, 500 MT of insulation, 20 MT of argon and 322 MT of slack wax oil were traded.
Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of the IME, 28,385 MT of various commodities worth over $15 million were traded. On this trading floor, 13,850 MT of wheat, 11,425 MT of sugar, 500 MT of meals, 1,700 MT of crude vegetable oil and 910 MT of maize were traded by the customers.
It is worth noting that during the last week the side market of the IME witnessed trading of 1,325 MT of potash and scrap metal.
