TEHRAN, March 29, YJC -Iran and Norway stressed boosting mutual cooperation in environmental fields.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Iranian Ambassador to Norway Mohammad-Hassan Habibollah and Norwegian Minister of Environment Vidar Helgesen called for developing bilateral ties in environment as they met in Oslo.
During the meeting, Vidar Helgesen referred to Iran-Norway cooperation in international environmental agreements, and called for taking more steps in this field.
He also said that commonalities between the two countries in oil and gas are good opportunities for exchanging experiences and lessening the industry pollution in the environment, through controlling and lessening carbon.
Habibollah, for his part, said Iran is ready for joint scientific research projects by environmental institutions of the two countries.
