Iran, Russia issue joint statement for cooperation in various fields

TEHRAN, March 29, YJC - Iranian and Russian president issued a joint statement, stressing complete materialization of a roadmap for implementing bilateral projects as President Hassan Rouhani wrapped up his two-day visit to Moscow.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The statement also emphasized building the second and third units of Bushehr nuclear power plant continuously, Iran-Russia cooperation in stability of global energy market, durable economic growth, expanding banking ties, using bilateral currencies, confronting Takfiri thoughts and complete commitment to Iran’s nuclear deal by all sides.
 
The two sides also announced they have obtained extensive agreements in bilateral, regional and international matters and vowed to support formation of a Russian-Iranian association on inter-regional cooperation.
 
The association is likely to be held either in Iran’s northern Sa’ari City or Russian Astrakhan before the end of 2017. Heads of regional states, representatives of the two countries and business groups can take part in the association.
 
Iran and Russian agreed on easing limitations on issuing visa for nationals of the two countries.
 
The two sides also issued commands to investigate further steps to remove administrative commands which ban travel of certain groups of Iranian and Russian citizens to the two countries.
