Head of Iranian Trade Promotion Organization Mojtaba Khosro-Taj said Iran’s exports to Tajikistan and Turkmenistan have totaled $600 million over the first 10 months of Iranian calendar year (started on March 20, 2016).

Turkmenistan’s share hit $430 million and Tajikistan’s neared $137 million, he said.
Iran’s exports included $19 million potato, $1 million tea, $5 million decorative flowers, $2 million dairy, $7.5 million biscuit, $2.3 million compote, $1 million macaroni, $3.3 million sugar, $2 million iron, $111 million steel products, $11.3 million tiles, $3.8 million glass, $16.4 million decorative stones and $210 million dyes, the official added.
He said detergents, drug, car parts, home appliances, machinery, cable, carpet, clothing and shoes have also been among Iran's exports.
Khosro-Taj also highlighted Iran’s historical and cultural ties with the two countries, adding Iran is after boosting ties with all neighboring countries.
