An Iranian informed Foreign Ministry official rejected certain remarks on problems and obstacles to exports of Iranian carpet to the US.

"Carpet exports to the US is free and Iran has exported $51 million carpet to the US over the first 8 months of Iranian calendar year (started on March 20),” said an Iranian informed official in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) of Iranian Foreign Ministry.
"There is no obstacle to selling Iranian carpets to third countries via the US and re-exporting to third countries via the US is free.”
Iranian Foreign Ministry’s report over the first 8 months of the current Iranian year showed the country’s hand-woven carpet exports totaled $205 million, rising by 24 percent comparing to similar period last year.
Iranian hand-woven exports to the US was stopped from 2010-2016.
