Tehran, YJC. On Tuesday Prime Minister of Syria Wael Nader Al-Halqi was officially welcomed by First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri at Sa’dabad Cultural Complex in Tehran.
Al-Halqi arrived in Tehran on Monday afternoon on a 3-day
visit to discuss major bilateral, regional and international issues with top
Iranian officials.
The Syrian official is leading a delegation of the country’s
health, industries, power and oil ministers.
Speaking to reporters upon arrival in Tehran, Al-Halqi who is
making his second visit to Iran since last year, expressed hope that the
ongoing nuclear talks between Iran and the world six big powers would be
fruitful.
Iranian diplomats and experts have resumed the talks with
their negotiating counterparts from US in Geneva, Switzerland, on Monday.
