Wednesday, 17 March 2021 (YJC)_ Chairman of the Iranian Parliament called on Europe not to follow the US policy of bullying.
In a meeting with the new Slovakian Ambassador to Tehran Ladislav Ballek, the Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Mojtaba Zonnour called on Europe not to follow the US policy of bullying.
Hailing that the relations between Iran and Slovakia have always been warm and friendly, he urged Europe not to follow the US policy of bullying while Describing the US sanctions against the Iranian people as hostile and oppressive.
“Unlike other European countries, Slovakia has not created any obstacles or problems for the Islamic Republic of Iran,” noted Zonnour.
Elsewhere in his remarks he announced Iran’s readiness to develop and strengthen relations with Slovakia while adding that “Iran’s Parliament welcomes the promotion of interaction and cooperation with the Slovak Parliament in all fields.”
“Slovakia is a factor to connect Iran to Central Europe,” Zonnour added while pointing to Slovakia’s geopolitical position in Eastern Europe.
