Tuesday, 11 August 2020 (YJC)_ Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman rejected the reports on the partial removal of the sanctions on Tehran.
On his Tuesday daily briefing, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi, rejected the reports on temporary removal of part of the so-called non-targeted sanctions on his country, Iran, highlighting “such comments are fake and the aim of spreading such reports are vague”
He, moreove, added that “it is fairly probable that the failure of US’ policy of sanctions would be a source of fight between Europe and the US, but the fact that according the UNSC Resolution 2231 and JCPOA, the US’ unilateral sanctions are illegal and inhuman is obvious and this country is obliged to eliminate and remove these sanctions after its withdrwal from the JCPOA”.
