Tuesday, 11 August 2020 (YJC)_ The Chief of Staff for the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that over 20,000 patients with COVID-19 have been hospitalized in Armed Force’s hospitals across the country since the start of the outbreak.
On his Tuesday remark, the Chief of Staff for the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, noting his visit to Imam Reza Healthcare and Medical Treatment Headquarters mentions “it has been about six months that this hospital offers quality services to Covid-19 stricken patients permanently”
He, moreover, mentioned that Armed Forces’ hospitals have been the place to host Coronavirus patience since the beginning of the outbreak and gives the number of hospitalized patients, so far, as 20k.
He numbered the current patients in Armed Forces’ hospitals as about 650.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Bagheir highlighted the degree of infection among Armed Forces’ personnel to coronavirus and pointed, “the number of infections of Armed Forces’ staff to COVID-19 is lower comparing to the average level nationwide due to the strict observation of health protocols.”
He moreover appreciated the cooperation between Armed Forces and with the National Coronavirus Combat and Prevention Headquarters.
