TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The withdrawal is not likely to happen, Berri said in an interview with Russian media ‘Sputnik’.
If Hezbollah had not been present in Syria, Daesh would have been in Lebanon now, he added.
The withdrawal will happen only when Syria is liberated and integrated, he noted.
Iran's presence in Syria is upon the Syrian government's demand and so is Russia's, Berri said.
Iran and Hezbollah have been in Syria to fight terrorist groups, he reiterated.
He went on to say that the Zionist regime of Israel is concerned about Iran-Hezbollah role.
Referring to 1.5 million Syrian refugees in Lebanon, Berri said they are not strangers.
Lebanon and Syria are twins, he added.
