TEHRAN, May 27 - Iranian Secretary of National Security High Council said whatever US authorities prate and threat, Iran will not surrender their excessive demands.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In an interview with al-Jezira, Admiral Shamkhani discredited US excessive demands from Iran as a new strategy and said that they want to impose new term of negotiation with Iran, neither is a strategy nor is new.
"Basically, if we consider the root of such [US] sayings and even the US's reasons for leaving JCPOA, we can see that all of these measures have been taken for Iran's not surrendering US wanting", Shamkhani said.
The Iranian high-profile official referred to the feasibility of renegotiating Iran' nuclear deal and remarked "there is no rational reason for negotiating with a country that does not respect to its commitments. With its exiting JCPOA, US actually scraped the deal".
Speaking weeks after the United States' pullout from the nuclear agreement Iran signed with major powers in 2015, he laid out 12 tough conditions for any "new deal" with Tehran. The conditions included withdrawal of Iran's military advisors from Syria, who have been helping the country's legitimate government in its anti-terror fight against terrorist outfits, which have been mostly aided and abetted by the US and its Western and regional allies.
