TEHRAN, April 30 - Head of Iran’s Customs Organization Foroud Asgari stressed boosting bilateral Iran-Europe cooperation in customs.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) – In a meeting with Norwegian Ambassador to Iran Lars Nordrum, Asgari said Iran is ready to work with Norway in exchanging electronic information.
“Boosting ties with European countries to facilitate trade is one of the plans of Iran’s Customs. We have had talks with Austria and France about this issue,” he said.
He said since Iranian Customs is doing all customs processes especially information exchange systematically, cooperation with Norwegian government in this fields could help boosting trade exchanges and economic cooperation.
Lars Nordrum, called the systematic process in Iranian Customs ‘successful’, and stressed his country’s willingness to boost trade ties with Iran.
“Now, we have good economic ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran which can also influence bilateral political ties between the two sides.”
He expressed hope that bilateral customs ties between the two sides would be expanded in near future.
