TEHRAN, April 09 - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif said increasing Iran-Senegal commercial exchanges is possible through banking cooperation.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Speaking in Iran-Senegal joint economic conference in Senegal, he said the two countries as two key countries in West Asia and West Africa and Islamic World, can act as a bridge between the two important regions and play an influential role in economic growth of the two regions and expand regional and international peace and unity of the Islamic World.
“Boosting economic exchanges is possible through bilateral banking ties which needs more activities of private sector and public support.”
He added Iran is ready to make Senegal a hub of auto manufacturing in West Asia jointly with Senegal government and private sector.
Iran’s largest car maker IKCO established a joint venture company with the Senegalese government, known as SenIran a few years ago.
