TEHRAN, March 12 - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif stressesed boosting Iran-Pakistan cooperation to guarantee safety of shared borders of the two sides.
TEHRAN,Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Zarif in a meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Khawaja Muhammad Asif, said it is necessary that Iran and Pakistan as two ‘friendly countries and neighbors’ sharing border ‘have strong cooperation to guarantee safety of borders of the two countries and prevent infiltration of terrorists’.
Khawaja Muhammad Asif, for his part, said, “We are ready to expand bilateral cooperation with Iran in economic and political fields.”
“We want stable borders for the two countries’.
Zarif is in Pakistan to discuss widening bilateral ties between Iran and Pakistan in various fields.
