Minister: No official order to transfer nuclear case to Foreign Ministry

Tehran, YJC. Foreign Minister has said that the president has yet given no order as to the relegation of the nuclear case to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran providing comments on the transfer of the Iranian nuclear case from the Majlis Committee for National Security and Foreign Policy to the Foreign Ministry said "No order in this regard has yet been issued to the Foreign Ministry by the president,” Mehr News Agency reports.

Mohammadjavad Zarif also said that Rouhani is to attend the Shanghai meeting in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, adding "The president will meet Putin in the sidelines of this session.”

He also pointed to the upcoming UN General Assembly and said that no decision has been yet made for the president to attend the meeting.

Tasnim has reported Zarif saying "We can devise a plan to obviate concerns by the Western side about the nuclear program."
