TEHRAN, January 23 – Mohammad-Bagher Nobakht denied on Tuesday any opening of negotiations about Iran’s missile program with other countries.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - When asked about French foreign minister’s comments who claimed there have been negotiations about Iran’s missile activities with Tehran, Mohammad-Bagher Nobakht, Spokesman of the government of Iran, replied “No one is allowed to interfere in our defence affairs. We regard defence and missile capabilities our inalienable rights, and no negotiation is, nor would be conducted with anyone.”
He further added “it is possible that someone might have made a comment about this matter in a private meeting, yet this does not mean that negotiations have been taking place. Negotiating means participating in a series of sessions, similar to the negotiations of JCPOA, but the fact that someone might have made a comment and claims in international quarters that he has said a particular thing, does not mean that negotiations have been taking place.”
