TEHRAN, December 17 - Iran Khodro Industrial Group has started production of two new vehicles, the turbo Dena+ and automatic Peugeot 207 sedans.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The production began following an opening ceremony in Tehran attended by a number of Iranian officials including parliament speaker Ali Larijani and the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Mohammad Shariatmadari as well as top managers from IKCO.
The new IKCO Dena+ is equipped with a turbo technology which increases vehicle’s torque with a relatively low fuel consumption. This turns Dena+ into a high-speed vehicle with a good performance along the roads.
Designed as a family vehicle, the automatic Peugeot 207 sedan meets the preferences of those Iranian customers who are interested in sedan vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission. IKCO has begun 207 sedan’s production with the aim of preserving its market share and increasing its customers’ satisfaction.
The decision to produce automatic sedan was made in response to growing domestic demands for the vehicle. The mass production of automatic 207 hatchback had begun earlier.
Dena is viewed as an Iranian brand luxury car. With the mass production of the turbo-charged model of this car, IKCO is expected to increases its customers’ satisfaction.
