TEHRAN, December 11 - The prominent commander of the Syrian Army’s elite Tiger Forces division reportedly met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Syrian counterpart Bashar Al-Assad.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The prominent commander of the Syrian Army’s elite Tiger Forces division reportedly met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Syrian counterpart Bashar Al-Assad at the Hmaymim Military Airport today, a military source told Al-Masdar News this a afternoon.
According to the source, Major General Suheil Al-Hassan made a rare visit to the Hmaymim Military Airport this morning in order to meet the Russian President during his surprise visit to Syria.
General Al-Hassan has worked closely with the Russian Armed Forces since their mission in Syria began.
Putin briefly visited the Hmaymim Airport today and has since traveled to Egypt in order to meet with his President ‘Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi in Cairo.
