TEHRAN, December 11- Iran’s Minister of Defense warns that US must be accountable for any more bloodshed in the region.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - General Amir Hatami said that the White House's hostile action in recognizing al-Quds as the capital of the Zionist regime has been a profound attempt to undermine the rights of the Muslim people of Palestine.

This act of the US, Hatami added, will advance the annihilation of the Zionist regime and enhance the unity of Muslims.

He said that after defeat in Syria and Iraq, US is seeking a new conspiracy and adventure against the other nations of the region.

“The Israeli regime knows that such acts of US make no change in the situation of the regime and that the Palestinian nation as well as other libertarian nations of the world would unite and be decisive more than any time to free Palestine” the General asserted.

The Secretary of Defense emphasized that the occupiers will never take a sigh of relief in Palestine and have no choice but to leave the country, for Muslims in the world will never allow a part of the body of the Islamic world be separated.

General Hatami said that the US and Israeli regime must be accountable for any more bloodshed in the region.

"The policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been to support the oppressed Palestinian people, the stability and security of the region, as well as the condemnation of the divisive and unilateral actions of the United States and the Zionist regime” He added.

Hatami pointed out to the decline of Daesh terrorist group in the region asserting that in case Deash were not uprooted, the Israeli regime would live more safely and for longer time.

“We must carefully monitor the actions of the terrorist groups, in order to eradicate the root of this tragic genius completely” General Hatami said, asserting that Iran will stick to fight terrorism.
