TEHRAN, November 20 - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman reacted on Monday to Saudi-drafted statement of Arab League Foreign Ministers’ Summit of Sunday in Cairo of Egypt.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi issued a statement on Monday, responding to the latest Saudi-driven Arab League Foreign Ministers’ statement against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Mr. Ghasemi said the Arab League statement is full of lies and distortions. He adds that the statement is the result of KSA political pressure on fellow Arab countries and the media propaganda financed by Saudi Arabia.
The Iranian diplomat invites Saudi Arabian leaders to first show sympathy toward their fellow Arab neighbors in Yemen with stopping the unfair air-strikes against civilians and children, to be more believable when issuing a statement and advocating the rights of Arabs in confrontation with Iran.
Now that Saudi Arabia has helped the Zionist regime advance goals in the region, which includes the esclation of intra-regional tensions and distracting Muslim countries from the main issue of concern for the Islamic world, namely the occupation of Palestine, and through massive political and propaganda pressures, has managed to issue an anti-Iran statement full of lies and distortions, the Islamic Republic of Iran calls upon Saudi rulers to immediately stop the aggression against their fellow Arabs in Yemen to make a statement like this more impactful and let Yemeni women, children, and civilians escape from being the victim of Saudis’ grudge drive.
The solution to region’s current problems, which are mostly resulted from Saudi Arabia’s barren policies, is not to issue such worthless statements but it is to quit following the policies of Zionist regime, stop exercising force, give up feeding terrorism, and accept and respect the will of the people and nations of the region who are endeavoring for the cause of independence, freedom, progress, and honorable life in their own countries.
