TEHRAN, November 20 - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif called on certain regional countries to try for peace and stability instead of warmongering.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “Certain regional countries should make effort for establishing peace and stability instead of warmongering,” he said.
He made the remarks after a trilateral meeting with his Russian and Turkish counterparts in Antalya, Turkey.
He said that it is a useful process for achievements on the verge of fighting terrorism and returning peace and stability in Syria.
The Astana process showed that when influential regional countries cooperate, it is possible to accomplish what other countries could not do that.
“If regional nations come to understand that they should cooperate instead of pursuing wrong policies, we will witness successful achievements,” he said, adding, “Unfortunately, countries like Saudi Arabia are after discord and disagreement and that is why they see nothing but disagreement.”
