Comprehensive plan needed to confront terrorism: Jaberi Ansari

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Jaberi Ansari said fighting terrorism must be pursued in four levels of thought and culture, society and economy, security and intelligence, and military. Forming a regional or international coalition was another suggestion of the Deputy FM to peruse the very comprehensive confrontation.

Noting that regional and international players’ utilizing terrorism to pursue their political goals has escalated extremism, Jaber Ansari said that the formation and expansion of Takfiri terrorist group in the region is the result of the aggregation of internal and external factors.

“Iraq and Syria’s army big victories over the terrorists are along with fight against the outward aspect of terrorism and terrorist groups” he added, “yet dealing with this [outward] aspect does not protect us against their comprehensive threats”.

Jaber Ansari remarked that some Arabic regimes as well as international powers made all of their efforts to liquidate Syrian government, therefore putting the extensive use of terrorism in their agenda; a utilitarianist policy which Islamic Republic from the very beginning reckoned it as a failed policy which damaged the users of the terrorists and escalated tensions and insecurity in the region.
