Iran, South Korea discuss cooperation in water, electricity

TEHRAN, October 16 - South Korean Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Hyun-mi met with care-taker of Iranian Energy Ministry Sattar Mahmoudi here in Tehran.

Iran, South Korea discuss cooperation in water, electricityTEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Kim Hyun-mi is in Iran at top of a delegation from representatives of large South Korean firms of Samsung and Hyundai.

During the meeting, Mahmoudi called for implementing MoU already signed between Iran and South Korea on water and electricity.

Thermal powers stations with high efficiency, energy use, renewable energies and joint cooperation in third countries are fields that Iran and South Korea can work jointly, he said.

The Iranian official also said Iran and South Korea have already signed MoU on water sources management, water consumption management, dam safety, improving functions of sewage plants, education and research.
