TEHRAN, September 6 - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani reiterated that the country welcomes expanding all-out ties with Japan.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “Today, there are many areas for investment and expanding Iran-Japan bilateral cooperation,” he said in a meeting with Special Envoy of Japanese Prime Minister Masahiko Kōmura here in Tehran.
He also said Japanese firms can work in Iranian oil, petrochemical, dam building and port expansion projects.
Rouhani then called for facilitating bilateral banking transactions of the two countries.
Masahiko Kōmura, for his part, called for boosting bilateral trade and economic ties in various fields.
He also said, “Iran has always played actively in regional peace and security. We believe that all countries took part in the nuclear deal negotiations have to comply with their commitments to the nuclear deal.”
