TEHRAN, August 23 - Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister and Lebanese Hezbollah leader on Tuesday discussed the latest developments in the region.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In the meeting, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Middle East and Africa affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari and Lebanon’s Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrollah also explored the latest developments in Syria and Lebanon.
The meeting came as the Lebanese army and Hezbollah have attained significant progress in clearing the eastern Lebanon from the Takfiri terrorist groups, particularly the al-Nusra Front and Daesh (ISIS).
Jaberi Ansari’s three-day visit to Lebanon began on Monday.
He has visited some senior Lebanese officials, including President Michel Aoun, Leader of the Progressive Socialist Party Walid Junbalat and the country’s Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil.
