TEHRAN, August 16 - Iran FM spokesman says Tehran has not received any sign of Saudi Arabia’s eagerness towards mending ties.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Pointing out Saudi Arabia’s neglectfulness towards Iran-Saudi relations, Iran Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Bahram Ghasemi, said "Iran welcomes mediations for mending ties."
He continued "Iraqi PM’s stepping up for mediation between Riyadh and Tehran is a constructive act if it brings safety and stability to the region."
Furthermore stating that Iran has not received any sign of Saudi Arabia’s eagerness towards mending relations he said: "We hope Saudi Arabia stops the war on Yemen."
Iraqi Interior Minister, Qasim al-Araji, in a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Abdulreza Rahmani Fazli, said the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia had asked him for mediation between Riyadh and Tehran
