TEHRAN, August 14, YJC - Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC)'s second-in-command Brigadier General Hossein Salami said future of regional developments have been intertwined with Iran.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “We cannot be isolated anymore, since future of regional developments has been intertwined with Iran. Today, it is Iran which is influencing regional developments. This is Iran’s credit which has grown in the world,” he said in a ceremony commemorating Mohsen Hojaji, an Iranian soldier, who was also Syrian holy shrine defender, who was executed by Daesh terrorist group.
He further said that this is not the US devising security puzzles for us. “This is we who make security puzzles for them.”
Salami added that Iran cannot be isolated anymore, “Because of our presence in Iraq and Syria, no one can put us in isolation. We are dominating the Persian Gulf which is a host to 50 percent of the world’s energy.”
