expressed regrets that figures like Hashemi and Khatami are not made use of on
the global stage. He said "If I win in the elections I will definitely use the
potential and experience of Mr. Khatami who is the prophet of peace on the
global stage. I will also tap the capabilities and influence of Mr. Hashemi in
the ME.”
Providing
comments on the arts, the Reform administration Prime Minister said "There
exists a security outlook towards arts which must be resolved.”
Aref
also believed that public and press diplomacy must be used to improve the
country’s global status.
He pointed
to his 5 years of residence in the US when a Stanford student and said "To
improve Iran’s status on the global stage I will surely use the experience of
the Reform administration and top diplomats.”

relations with all countries from the position of power. By no means do I
consider talks with the US from a weak point in the interest of the Iranian
nation.”
He
also provided comments on his programs in economy and said "To make use of
outstanding officials who had a hand in the 3rd Development Program
will be a priority for me and my coworkers and will be considered in case of
victory in the elections. Using experts now abroad will also receive top
priority.”
