TEHRAN, June 2, YJC - Iranian Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mojtaba Khosro-Tajj and Armenian Minister of Economic Development and Investment Suren Karayan discussed ways for expanding bilateral economic ties between the two sides.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - During the meeting, Karayan called for defining appropriate mechanism to increase the volume of bilateral trade exchanges between Iran and Armenia, saying that establishing joint companies is a good way for the goal.
He said Armenian membership in Eurasian Economic Union and being Iran’s neighbor is a good opportunity for expanding and developing mutual cooperation in various fields which would considerably help boosting bilateral commercial exchanges and exporting Iranian goods to Europe.
He also called for importing Iranian agricultural machinery.
Mojtaba Khosro-Tajj, for his part, stressed boosting bilateral trade development.
They also stressed activating banking and insurance cooperation.
