TEHRAN, June 04 - The Syrian army forces thwarted major attacks by Daesh (ISIS or ISIL) terrorist group on the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, inflicting heavy losses on the foreign-backed militants, as the US -led coalition resumes its attacks on the northeastern province of al-Hasakah.
