TEHRAN,YJC. —UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in his message for the International Day for Eradication of Poverty, 17 October 2013, said that despite impressive achievement in cutting poverty by half, more than 1.2 billion people still live in extreme poverty worldwide.
