TEHRAN, November 14 - United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Mark Lowcock, has called for a ceasefire around of Hudaydah, where Saudi-backed militiamen loyal to Yemen's former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi and foreign mercenaries are fighting Houthi Ansarullah fighters for the control of the western Yemeni port city.
Disregard of the parties to the Ukrainian conflict for the rules of international humanitarian law infringes on the living conditions of civilians on both sides of the contact line, with people being deprived of basic rights, a report issued Thursday by OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine said.
