Tuesday, 06 October 2020_Thousands of people protesting the results of Kyrgyzstan’s legislative elections have reportedly seized the Central Asian country’s parliamentary and presidential compound in the capital, Bishkek.
TEHRAN, August 13 - A number of severe charges have been brought against Kyrgyzstan’s former President Almazbek Atambayev, including the murder of a special forces solider, Department Chief at the Kyrgyz Prosecutor General’s Office Zamir Beishekeyev said at a press conference on Tuesday.
Former Kyrgyz president Kurmanbek Bakiyev's brother, Zhanybek Bakiyev, has been sentenced in absentia by a district court to life in prison, the press service of the Central Asian republic's prosecutor-general's office told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
