TEHRAN, August 8- Astronomers have discovered an abundance of vast, ancient galaxies . Scientists spotted the galaxies in the distant universe using the combined power of several space observatories.
TEHRAN, Feb 20 - An international team of astronomers have produced a new map of the distant universe revealing some 300,000 new galaxies . The map was plotted using data collected during the first phase of a new radio sky survey.
TEHRAN, October 27 -Two Milky Way satellite galaxies , Small Magellanic Cloud and the Large Magellanic Cloud, collided a few millions years ago, according to a new study by University of Michigan astronomers.
TEHRAN, October 02 -"We want to find out the details of how these vast cosmic reservoirs of atomic hydrogen are distributed in space," researcher Lutz Wisotzki said.
