TEHRAN, May 27, YJC - British police have made two more arrests in connection with Monday’s terrorist attack that left 22 people dead and scores of others injured in Manchester.

That brings to 11 the number of suspects held over the Manchester Arena attack that was claimed by the Daesh terror group.

Greater Manchester police are hunting for a possible bomb-maker after British-born Salman Abedi allegedly detonated a sophisticated device at a concert hall in Manchester on Monday night.

At least 22 people lost their lives and dozens more were wounded. It has been the deadliest act of terror in Britain in over a decade.


The British government has deployed thousands of troops across the country to guard key sites.

British Home Secretary Amber Rudd said Wednesday that Abedi was known to intelligence services and he did not act alone.

Local Muslim leaders in Manchester have expressed concern about rising Islamophobic incidents and hate crimes against Muslims following the terror attack.

Senior members of the Muslim community in Britain’s third largest city say that they have received reports of  criminal acts and abusive behavior since the attack.
