TEHRAN, May 23, YJC - Secretary of Iranian Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani said that certain countries relying on the petrodollars are sowing seeds of insecurity and violence in the region.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Some countries with dark history of supporting terrorism are relying on petrodollars and have changed the region into western weapons warehouse and are sowing seeds of insecurity and violence,” he said upon his arrival at Moscow Airport.
He highlighted the summit’s importance in investigating and determining capabilities for creating security and fighting terrorism through security talks.
Shamkhani also stressed continuous talks and close cooperation of influential countries in international security to lessen international dangers and establishing peace in the world.
Stockpiling weapons would never bring security and the way Saddam Hussein ended up is the best example of this issue, he added.
