TEHRAN, May 21, YJC - Iran is going to take delivery of 32 new planes by the next 20 months.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - After implementing the JCPOA and lifting sanctions on Iranian airlines, they could have an opportunity for direct talks with major plane-makers of the world.
Iran Air, the first Iranian airline, could conclude talks with Air Bus, Boeing and ATR to resume receiving new aircrafts.
Air Bus first delivered three A321 and A330 planes to Iran and ATR finalized 15-months talks with Iran and added 4 planes to Iranian fleet.
This is a long-waiting process and Iran is expected to receive 32 planes from three major plane makers by the next 20 months.
ATR is going to give 5 other planes to Iran with Air Bus’s share is 4 A320 planes for Iran during the same period.
Iran would have taken delivery of 23 planes in 2018.
