TEHRAN, May 12, YJC - Head of Iran’s Veterinary Organization Mehdi Khalaj said the country has exported 103.000 tons of fisheries over the past Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2016- March 20, 2017).
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The products have been mainly exported to European and Asian countries, he said, adding the country’s fisheries exports has been growing over past years, and "We hope that the process will continue in the years to come”.
Khalaj further said that Iran has also taken positive measures in exporting livestock raw products, adding the country has managed to cooperate well with other countries in terms of exports.
He also said that lifting sanctions helped Iran establish direct communications with certain countries for producing drug products, and take good steps for making pharmaceuticals with high quality.
