TEHRAN, May 5, YJC - Thailand welcomes broadening bilateral ties with Iran in economic and payment fields.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Deputy Director of Central Bank of Iran Peiman Qorbani met with representatives of Thai National Legislative Assembly (NLA) , head of economic and financial commission of the assembly and famous businessmen.During the meeting, Qorbani said Iran’s economic growth reached 11.6 percent over the first 9 months of the past Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2016 – December 20, 2016) and its GDP reached 1.9 percent excluding oil.
The Thai delegation stressed boosting bilateral ties with Iran in payment system thanks to deep mutual tourism ties.
Mobile payment through NFC has been possible in Iran since May 4.
