TEHRAN, May 4, YJC - Mexican Ambassador to Iran Alfonso Zegbe stressed improving bilateral ties with Iran in various fields.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - "There have been good political ties between the two governments and parliaments. There are good fields for cooperation in cultural exchanges and technical fields,” he said in a meeting with members of Mashhad Chamber of Commerce, northeastern Iran.
He said that his country can work in producing hahal chicken and related agreements have been signed. The agreements would support investment, he said, adding the documents should be finalized to prevent extra tax and duty.
Zegbe also stressed boosting mutual cooperation between Iran and Mexico in logistics and maritime transport.
The two countries can have maritime transport now, however importing goods from Mexico to Iran is difficult, the envoy said, adding Mexico can act as a storehouse beyond Persian Gulf and center for producing various goods.
