TEHRAN, April 15, YJC - In a report, UN Secretary General stressed the improvement of Libya’s situation and the increase of supports to the country.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC)- Antonio Guteress, alarmed Security Council about Libya’s risky situation which is too disturbing. He warned that Libya faces a risk of relapsing into chaos amid renewed military confrontations between rival parties and a political stalemate in the North African country.
The potential for an escalating conflict remains mainly due to unaddressed political issues "and the multiplicity of armed actors on the ground with conflicting agendas,” he said.
"Terrorist attacks in Libya is of thoese cases to uproot which special security measures should be taken” Guterres noted.
The UN chief noted that the Takfiri Daesh terrorist group has fully lost ground in Libya, but its operatives were still carrying out sporadic attacks in different areas.
"Although Daesh terrorist group has control over affairs in no point of libya, it has its agents in the country who are liable to make catasrophe” Guterres stressed.
UN Secretary General also stressed sendind humanitarian aids to libya, noting that the refugees in the country are in distress.
